Christmas Cards and Christmas Photos

OUR 2010 CHRISTMAS PHOTOS!
Christmas cards. Dave and I started this tradition last year were we start making Christmas cards during Thanksgiving weekend. It's already one of my favorite Holiday traditions. This year we made 50 cards, we were so excited to get them out with photos. We wimped out though on writing a letter with it, maybe next year we'll be better at that. We certainly wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Oh, Christmas tree!

Our handcut, 8ft Grand Fir, with 600 mini-white lights and FIRST real Christmas tree!
It's beyond beautiful!!!

Mt. Creek Christmas Tree Farm

Dave and I sure had fun finding our Grand Fir, cutting it down,
bailing it and tying it to the top of our Jeep.

The tree farm was in this amazing spot, surrounded by Mt. Si, it was so picturesque that we also took our Christmas card photo there. We sure had a good day with no rain, fresh mountain air, and a thermos full of hot coco.

Christmas Quote Countdown

Buddy: Sounds like someone needs to sing a Christmas Carol

Jovie: No way.
Buddy: The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear.
Jovie: Thanks, but I don't sing
Buddy: Oh, well, it's just like talking, except longer and louder, and you move your voice up and down.
Jovie: I *can* sing, I choose *not* to sing. Especially in fron of other people.
Buddy: If you can sing along, you sing in front of people. There's no difference.
Jovie: Actually there's a BIG difference.
Buddy: No there's not. Wait...
[starts singing loud and off-key]
Buddy: I'm singing/I'm singing in a store/and I'm siiiiingsiiiiing/I'm in a store/and I'm siiiiiingiiiing!
Gimbels Manager: HEY! There's no singin' in the North Pole!
Buddy: Yes there is!
Gimbels Manager: No there's not.
Buddy: We sing all the time!
Gimbels Manager: No you don't!
Buddy: Especially when we build toys.
[Back to Jovie]
Buddy: See?

New Seattle Finds

This was at the Seattle Art Museum. Otherwise known as SAAM. I thought it was amazing up close.

Picasso!!! Here in town till Jan. And out of Paris for the first time ever. It's making it's stops here in the US and WA was it's first stop. I loved every minute of it. I found two new Picasso favorites of mine, one was of his first wife Olga, and the second was of his first son Paulo.
I found this amazing crown at a antique shop right by Pike's Market. I could seriously spend days in there. It was huge!

I finally found the gum wall. Which is certainly a must see for all my future guests!
